Fairmont Empress, Sunset tones and an electric night ⚡️

With her sister’s wedding coming up this weekend, had to throw it back to this one from 2023.

You know that feeling before a night really starts… this one had it right away.

Persian and Rwandan wedding, inside a space that already carries so much history.
Sunset coming through the windows, the whole room glowing, everything calm… almost too calm.

Like everyone knew it wasn’t going to stay that way.

Then the music started to find its way in.

Nothing crazy at first.
Just a few reactions, a few smiles, a few people stepping in.

And then… it opened up.

All of a sudden, it didn’t feel like separate groups anymore.
Just one energy moving through the whole room.

That’s always my favorite partwhen the shift happens and nobody’s overthinking it anymore. Everyone’s just in it.

Just one dance floor. One energy. One night nobody wanted to end.

Classy energy all night 🌙

Ravi & Megan’s day started on the rooftop witg perfect weather, clear skies, and that kind of calm that sets the tone for everything that follows.

By the time we moved inside, it felt like stepping into a Gatsby night. Clean, elegant room, everyone dressed up, that quiet anticipation before anything really begins.

At the start, you could feel both sides Indian and Canadian still in their own spaces. Different conversations, different music, different energy.

Then the night started to shift.

A few songs in, heads started nodding.
Then a few people made their way to the dance floor. Then it turned into one of those moments where nobody’s really thinking anymore, just moving, singing, reacting.

I remember looking out at one point and realizing… you couldn’t tell who came from which side anymore.

That’s when you know the night did what it was supposed to do.

That’s always the goal when I’m behind the decks not just to play music, but to bring people into the same moment.

By the end of the night, it was just one night to remember!
